How to Create Dope Content.

Great content can go to mediocre content in 2.5 seconds, which is why most of our content never gets posted. I've found that most of us are willing to take risk in posting our work, but packaging it takes some time. I've created a list of 4 things you always (in my opinion) need to include in a good caption.

TIP 1: ALWAYS BE RELATABLE.

(Nobody likes a perfect peabody). Try connecting to your audience by being authentic and relatable. Some people mistake this for telling all your business, but that's not what I mean. Your audience can smell holes in your character. Be honest, be genuine, be truthful, and most importantly, be

yourself. While this all seems cliché, you have to be intentional about what you share. Create captions for the "not so pretty" moments that people can relate to.

TIP 2: TELL A STORY.

First of all, our minds wander. Your job is to keep your reader interested. Creating captions is like updating your bestfriend, but without the secrets. The same energy, the same tone, and the same vibe needs to remain when connecting with your readers. Be passionate and thorough with what you're saying. Always try to include a

climax in your statements.

TIP 3: TRIGGER SOME EMOTION.

All emotion isn't bad emotion. Some of it's happy, some of it is exciting. Whatever the emotion is, include it in your writing. However you're feeling about a topic is how your readers should feel after what they've read. Whether they agree or not, your writing should always help them to understand and most importantly, feel.

TIP 4: ALWAYS HAVE A CALL TO ACTION.

Well number one, Instagram is just a tool. If you're not inspiring your audience to do something beyond the app, why are you using it? A good caption will always include ways for your audience to engage and interact with you. Whether it be directing them to your blog, business page, or story......some action is better than none.

As always, keep growing family!
